Partner in the Civil Litigation department, Álvaro is an expert in insurance law, with extensive experience, particularly in life insurance, civil liability, and pension plans.

As Head of the Litigation Department at Ferreras Abogados for 23 years, he is a specialist in procedural law and has represented the interests of companies across a wide range of sectors, including real estate development and construction, publishing, industry, distribution, food, electronics, and financial services.

His experience as legal counsel to the Organising Committee of the Barcelona ’92 Olympic Games is also noteworthy. In this role, he was responsible for the incorporation of the various commercial companies involved in the organisation of the Olympic Games, the negotiation and drafting of contracts with sponsoring companies and sports equipment suppliers, as well as the registration and defence of trademarks and intellectual property rights. He also contributed to the development of the strategic plan for the procurement of insurance coverage.
